The PDP8 was launched in 1965 and was the first mass-produced computer system. We are emulating the most popular variant: the PDP8/E.

The PDP8/E shown here has four DecTape drives (two pairs), and an RK05 exchangable disk drive. Note that either the paper tape reader is currently running or more likely, it has been placed in position for the picture!
